Western Challenge
Toolkit

Western Challenge logoThe Western Challenge is a one day, energized, 24-hour giving challenge that encourages alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends to show their support in keeping students first and remaining #LeatherneckStrong with a gift to any area of our Macomb and Quad City campuses.

This year, our challenge is to have 1,500 Leathernecks give a gift to Western between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on April 24, 2018!

To help us meet this challenge, you are asked to give one gift yourself, encourage two friends to make a gift, and energize many more to get involved with the tools provided below.

Update your social media account profiles with the tools below to show your support for Western students!

After you update - Advocate!

Click on the "Advocates" tab on the campaign page to:

• Issue a giving challenge to your friends, colleagues, and fellow alumni
• Create and share a personal appeal to drive the effort
• Receive exclusive updates on campaign progress

Meeting this year's Western Challenge begins with YOU!

On April 24, open Snapchat. Be sure to have your Toggle Location Services "on," and then scroll down and make sure the individual Snapchat app is toggled "On" too. Next, open Snapchat and tap the settings in the top right corner. After choosing the "Manage" option, you can now toggle on Filters, which will enable geofilters. Snap a photo and then simply swipe across until you see our event geofilter.
