This program allows incoming students to prepare early for registration. If you are interested in putting together a tentative class schedule before you arrive at Western for your Summer Orientation and Registration (SOAR) date, the following information will aid you in that process. (Students who have declared a major may have to take specified courses in the General Education curriculum).
Students will take placement testing for english and math during SOAR. This math letter was sent to freshmen that plan to attend in the fall 2009. It gives a detailed description of placement as well as the placement grid.
