Each month, Strategic Plan Updates provide a discussion of current progress being made in the areas addressed by Western's Higher Values in Higher Education 2008-2018 Strategic Plan. These updates are provided in PDF format.

2013 Monthly Updates

  • April 2013 Update:
    Synopsis: This month’s Strategic Plan Update provides a fourth draft report from the Long Term Planning Team for your review and feedback. Draft #4 begins with a statement of guiding principles based on the Planning Team’s internal and external environmental scans. These guiding principles were also the basis for the Team’s draft recommendations.
  • March 2013 Update:
    Synopsis: This month’s Strategic Plan Update provides you with an update on the team analyzing trends in higher education and recommended actions for the University in the present, five-year, and 20-year time frames.
  • February 2013 Update:
    Synopsis:  This month’s Strategic Plan Update provides you with an update on the team analyzing trends in higher education and recommended actions for the University in the near-, five-, and 20-year time frames.
