Emergency Alert System

The WIU Emergency Alert System (WEAS) informs the Macomb and Quad Cities campus communities in the event of an emergency. WEAS enables the distribution of voice, text, and email messages to students and employees. Students will be prompted to verify their emergency contact information when logging on to STARS for the first time each semester. Updates can also be made at any time by selecting the Emergency Alert Contact Update menu option on STARS.
