Alternative Spring Break (ASB) provides the opportunity for students to plan, raise money, travel and help another community during spring break. In the past ASB has traveled to Omaha, NE, Branson, MO, Mobile, AL, New Orleans, LA, and Washington D.C..  The type of service has ranged from working with families to partnering with Habitat for Humanity to Hurricane Katrina Relief to an Urban Plunge.

This year, the group will be traveling to Memphis, Tennessee to assist youth in need from March 15 to March 22, 2015. Applications will go live Monday, November 17 and are due on Wednesday, December 3. They can be found here and on Purplepost.

We are holding interest meetings that anyone is welcome to attend with no commitment required for anyone that may have an interest in participating on the trip. All interest meetings will be run by trip leaders, previous participants, and advisors, and will be held in the Student Organization Center in the basement of the University Union. They are at the following times:

Wednesday, November 19 at 8pm

Thursday, November 20 at 7pm

Tuesday, December 2 at 5pm

Tuesday, December 2 at 6pm
