Route 12 - South
Part of 25/55 Routes
Square - Spoon River - High School - Eisenhower Tower - City Center
Route 12 - South Services the southern areas of Macomb. It runs a 30 minute route from the City Center, through the Square, Eisenhower tower, South Ward Street, then the High school area, returning back to South Ward street and Eisenhower tower before it passes back through the square and returns to the City Center. 12 South runs all year long running once per hour.
Route 12 Leaves at the City Center at :25 of each hour, and returns at :55, meeting with 17 Northeast and 18 Southeast as well as 19 Southwest.
How it works:
The Bus Driving 12 South will alternate between driving Route 12 South and Route 19 Southwest, meeting with the other 25/55 routes at the city center to exchange passengers. Route 12 South will meet at :55 of the hour with , 17 Northeast and 18 Southeast as well as 19 Southwest (stay on the bus), while Route 19 Southwest will meet at :55 of the hour with Routes 17 Northeast and 18 Southeast as well as 12 South (stay on the bus).
On occasion a route runs late and fails to meet with its sister routes. In these hopefully rare cases, it is helpful to not that there is often a 10/40 route that might take you to the same destination.
