Outdoorsman's Club

In 2017 we came up with an idea to increase our membership and take our message to the community. The Outdoorsman’s Club was formed from the merger of the Sportsman’s Club and the Bass Fishing Team at Western Illinois University. Members take part in all things related to the outdoors. They share the love for hunting, fishing, shooting, and the outdoors. We strive to protect our outdoor heritage in all ways and provide an outlet to continue the way of the sportsman. Our organization is a chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) and participates in organized hunting trips, recreational shooting and fishing trips, as well as fishing competitively in the Bassmasters College Fishing Series, FLW College Bass Series. We look to pass down our knowledge to anyone who wants to learn to hunt or fish and we love sharing our experiences with others here at WIU and in the community.
