Mahidol University Exchange Program
Mahidol University International College is located just outside of Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. It is an international university that serves students from many different countries and allows all students to learn about Southeast Asian culture.

Program Details
General: You are REQUIRED to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to participate in this program. Proof of vaccination will be required prior to WIU registration. Mahidol University International College is located just outside of Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. It is an international university that serves students from many different countries and allows all students to learn about Southeast Asian culture.
Semester Programs: Students can participate in a semester or academic year exchange at Mahidol where they will have opportunities to take coursework in English in a variety of disciplines. Students will also have access to Thai language courses.
Housing and Meals: Mahidol has on campus housing available in student dormitories as well as several off-campus housing options. More information about housing and meal options can be found on the accommodation website.
Entry Requirements: Students must apply for a visa before entering Thailand. Visa requirements can be found on the website of the Thai consulate.
Health Insurance: It is a university policy that all WIU students who study abroad are either covered under WIU student health insurance OR have purchased the Patriot Travel Medical Insurance plan through IMG.

Academics
Exchange students are eligible to take most courses offered at Mahidol University. Courses are offered in a wide range of disciplines allowing students to take coursework towards major, minor, and general education requirements during the same semester.
