Back for the summer of 2022, in-person TechVenturing Camp! Once again led by WIU's Interim Chair of the School of Engineering & Technology , Rafael Obregon. An internationally recognized expert in design, Obregon has over 30 years of experience in the engineering technology field. NEW this year will be a visit to the Quad Cities Engineering facilities and the new I-74 Mississippi River Bridge .

Participation Criteria: |
Enrollment is limited to 10 participants. The program is open to students in grades 9-12 who are admitted on a firstcome, first-served basis. |
Registration:
Enrollment is limited to 10 students who are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Residential Cost is $395. Commuter Cost is $250. Registration can be completed online.
Refund Policy:
Full refunds will be made for cancellations made two weeks prior to the program start date.
Accommodations:
Registrants who select the residential option when registring, will be housed at WIU's Corbin Olson Residence Hall. Housing and all meals are included in the program registration cost. For the 2022 camp season, registrants will be individually roomed due to Covid restrictions and risks.
Medical/ADA Compliance:
Students do not qualify for University health care. Parents should check family insurance policies for health and accident coverage. Western Illinois University is in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Please let Study Abroad and Outreach staff know how we can accommodate any special needs students may have at least two weeks prior to the program start date.
