Business and Technology Career and Internship Fair Employer Registration

You are invited to join us for the WIU-QC Business and Technology Career and Internship Fair on Thursday, September 28th, 2017 *NEW DATE* from 1:30 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Western Illinois University - Quad Cities in Moline, IL. 

Come connect with our highly skilled Accounting, Marketing, Management, Human Resource Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Technology majors who are seeking internships, part and full time positions. Students from many of our other academic programs will also be in attendance.  Please indicate the positions and internships you are recruiting for so that we can make this information available to our students prior to the fair. 

The registration fee for the fair is $50 (no charge for non-profits and government agencies) and can be paid online or via check. This fee covers booth space, refreshments that will be available during the day and supports a WIU-QC College of Business and Technology scholarship through the Society of Accountancy.  Registration can be completed online. Once your registration form has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. 

Please consider also registering for "Meet the Firms" at our Macomb campus on September 20th.  There is a price discount if you attend both events.  For more information contact Cheryl Westen at ca-westen@wiu.edu.

Who do I make my payment to?

You can pay via credit card online or you can mail a check made out to WIU-QC Career Development to : Audrey Adamson, WIU-QC, 3300 River Drive, Moline, IL 61265. If you require an invoice or additional payment verification, please contact Audrey Adamson at anw-adamson@wiu.edu

What is provided in the display space?

Each space will be set up with one 5ft x 2ft table and a chair for each registered recruiter.  If you feel your organization needs an additional table or other resources, please contact Audrey Adamson at anw-adamson@wiu.edu after you have registered.

Where can I ship display materials to?

Materials can be shipped to WIU-QC Career Development, 3300 River Drive, Moline, IL 61265 the week of the event.  Please make sure they are clearly labeled.  Display items with prepaid shipping can be left at WIU-QC after the fair for return shipment the next day.

How can I promote my organization and positions?

All positions listed on your registration form will be promoted to students prior to the fair.  Organizations are also encouraged to create a profile and post your positions on our Leatherneck Link.  This database is utilized by both the Quad Cities and Macomb campuses. 

What types of students will I find at WIU-QC?

WIU-QC offers over 40 academic programs for undergraduate and graduate students.  You can find our majors here : Academic Programs.  Our students represent a wide range of ages and backgrounds and are committed to their education and the Quad Cities community.

When does check in start?

Check in and display set up will begin at 12:00 PM. We ask that all employers be set up and ready to go by 1:00 PM. 

Light snacks and drinks are provided throughout the event.  A local food vendor will be on campus until 1:30 PM if you wish to purchase lunch. 

How do I get to your campus, where can I park?

Riverfront Hall is located at 3300 River Drive, Moline, IL, easily accessible off of 34th St.  Materials can be dropped off a the main door and parking will be available in our University Drive lot on the West end of campus, with shuttle service back to Riverfront Hall.
