WIU-Quad Cities New Student Orientation: In Person and Virtual Options

New Student Orientation (NSO) is where you begin your life as a Leatherneck at WIU-QC! Whether you are a first-year or a transfer, undergraduate, or graduate student, NSO will be an exciting experience where you can get ready for both your in-class and out of classroom experiences, meet current students, staff, and faculty, and begin friendships with other new students.

Option 1

Register for a virtual session to explore New Student Orientation at your own pace. This option will include videos and information that will help prepare you for the semester. If after exploring the site, you have questions about any of the materials, please reach out to the WIU staff or faculty member who corresponds with the subject area(s) in which you have questions. When you have completed the New Student Orientation module, please fill out the confirmation/evaluation on the final page to get registered to win some WIU swag!

Option 2

Participate in Undergraduate New Student Orientation in person and meet faculty, staff and other students. New Student Orientation will meet at the WIU-QC campus in Riverfront Hall, 3300 River Drive, Moline, IL 61265.
