Office: QC technology staff assist with installation, maintenance and repair of computer hardware.
MS Office Professional, SPSS, Web browsers, utilities and other classroom software are available in the instructional and student lab. Installation assistance with class-specific, licensed software may be provided upon request.
Each WIU Quad Cities classroom features electronic presentation technology including overhead projection or plasma display, computer, document camera (ELMO), and DVD/VCR.
Several Quad Cities Complex and Riverfront Hall spaces feature video-conferencing technology capable of connecting classes anywhere in the world.
E-mail & MVS
Zimbra is the WIU web-based e-mail and calendar collaboration suite. zimbra.wiu.edu. MVS is the WIU administrative information system used to access employment records and other mainframe information. MVS can be accessed online from office or home office at mvs.wiu.edu.
