Early Intervention Provider Payments Update effective 10/23/09

Early Intervention has funding which will allow us to approve processing the Fiscal Year 2010 dates of service on the 08/19/09 voucher. This is the voucher that matches the Provider Claim Summary dated 08/19/09 with Fiscal Year 2010 dates of service. These payments should be showing on the Illinois Office of Comptroller Web Site within a few days.

Please watch the IOC website at www.ioc.state.il.us then click on Vendor Payments and enter your billing tax id number. As payments are approved, they will be posted on this web site.

Early Intervention receives funding from multiple sources and every effort is made to reduce the impact of the lack of state funds available by utilizing every other source. We will continue to make payments to providers as the funds become available. While we understand the impact these delays have on every aspect of the Early Intervention Services System, we are not able to change the way the state process works. We encourage everyone to understand the situation.
