D'Angelo did not hesitate to get involved in various activities when he first came to Western Illinois University. D'Angelo is an extremely dedicated Resident Assistant for Thompson Hall. He is also the Thompson Hall representative to Inter-Hall Council. In Inter-Hall Council, he has served on the issues committee which helps with major issues in the residence halls and also participated in the decision-making process to determine room and board rates for incoming new students. D'Angelo was selected to be a Chapter Core member of Students Today, Leaders Forever and traveled to six cities during spring break to do volunteer work.
As a member of the Board of Trustees, D'Angelo is dedicated to representing the students and helping unite the student voice. He plans to increase awareness among the students and work to build more partnerships with the administration, city and community. "I believe that, in being a Board of Trustees member, I can help improve the students' drive here on campus and the drive with the Macomb community to make WIU the most comprehensive university in the country."
