Epperly is the owner of Stoneage Marketing, a business improvement consulting firm specializing in entrepreneurial businesses principally for insurance and financial service professionals. Bill also speaks on developing customer friendly, systems oriented, thriving businesses and recently authored "Stoneage Marketing." Bill retired from the State Farm Companies in 2002 following a distinguished career of 34 years as a State Farm Agent and Vice President in Illinois and New York.

Bill has been involved in numerous civic activities over the years including serving as campaign chairman for Illinois State Representative Joel Brunsvold for 10 years and past president of the Milan Chamber of Commerce and its economic development board. He was a charter member of the Milan Rotary Club, serving as both secretary and treasurer. In addition, he is a former member and past president of the Western Illinois University Alumni Council.

Bill received a Bachelor of Business degree from WIU, is a Certified Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). He has won numerous sales awards and honors while employed with State Farm and is the recipient of the Milan Chamber of Commerce's Community Service Award. He is a recipient of the WIU Alumni Achievement Award and also WIU's Distinguished Alumni Award.
