MACOMB, IL - The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), in conjunction with the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), has recognized the high standards of training in the Specialist in School Psychology graduate program at Western Illinois University.

NASP recently extended its approval of the WIU School Psychology Program. The program has been approved by NASP since 1995.

Graduates of the WIU program are eligible to apply for national certification as a school psychologist. Most graduates of the program work as practicing school psychologists in public schools.
