MACOMB, IL -- Gov. Pat Quinn has announced appointments to Western Illinois University's Board of Trustees.

Trustee appointments include Donald "Bill" Griffin, geography professor emeritus, of Macomb; Lyneir Cole, a law enforcement and justice administration alumnus from Chicago, who is a member of the Alumni Council; and alumnus Bill Epperly, owner of Stoneage Marketing in Chicago. Griffin has served as a trustee since 2006, while Epperly has served as a trustee since 2004.

Michael Houston, mayor of Springfield, is a current member of the Board of Trustees, having served since 1997. Jesse Andrews, a WIU student, will serve as the student trustee through June 30, 2012.
