Farr Named Employee of the Month

MACOMB, IL -- The Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) at Western Illinois University is pleased to announce Linda Farr, a benefits counselor (formerly secretary III) in the Westerns human resources office, has been selected as the August Civil Service Employee of the Month.
Farr was nominated for her caring attitude, her willingness to help those who come into the human resources office and for her organizational skills. According to the nominators, Farr often helps lost students find the correct offices. She also answers questions about applying for jobs on campus, civil service testing, insurance, retirement, tuition waivers, insurance claims and classification.
Wed like to commend Linda for the fine work she does and for making Western Illinois University a better place for faculty, staff and students, said Paula Stull, CSEC public relations officer.
