WIU MCC to Host Annual Open House Jan. 26

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois Multicultural Center (MCC) will host its annual open house for the WIU community from 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26 in the MCC.

"The MCC has made and continues to make a difference in the DEI experience for many folks at WIU," said Acting Director Cal Ervin. "We invite you to meet the team, explore the resources and learn what it is that we do and the available opportunities. The MCC is a campus resource for all members of the WIU community."

This event is an opportunity for new and returning students to visit and gain insight into the MCC and hear from staff about different resources available to them. Organizations under the MCC will set up booths at the event for students to hear from them directly about future initiatives and what the organization offers students.

Food and refreshments will be provided along with activities, prizes, music and fun for all.

The Multicultural Center is located on Murray Street/CT Vivian Way, across from the University Union.
