Phyllis Ann (Thoreson) Shields Obituary

MACOMB, IL – Retired Western Illinois University Building Service Worker Phyllis Shields, of Colchester, passed away Thursday, May 5 in Macomb.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 13 at the First Christian Church (DOC) in Macomb. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 12 at Jones Mortuary in Colchester.
Shields began working at WIU in July 1980, and retired in April 1991.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel; one daughter; Beverly; one daughter-in-law, Annetta Ogle; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
