Malcolm "Mac" Torgerson Obituary

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University Emeritus Professor Malcolm "Mac" Torgerson passed away Friday, April 29 in Macomb.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 9 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded and burial of ashes will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Macomb.
Torgerson taught finance at WIU for 20 years, previously serving as department chair.
He is survived by his daughters, Lori and Lisa; and four grandchildren, Lillian, Austin, Merril and Savana.
Memorials may be made to the Malcolm and Mary Lou Torgerson Scholarship Fund through the Western Illinois University Foundation, 1 University Circle, Sherman Hall 302, Macomb, IL 61455.
