'Spring Into a Fun Semester' at WIU Continues April 12-18

MACOMB,IL- The Western Illinois University Office of Student Engagement (OSE), in conjunction with numerous other campus offices, will host "Spring Into a Fun Semester" April 12- April 18 during the Spring 2021 semester.

The goal of the events is to help engage students and help them make meaningful connections.

The week schedule includes:

• Monday, April 12
- 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. – *Bi*ce Cream Social and Pan Pizza Palooza- in person, located in the MCC
- Noon-3 p.m. – FSL and Child Abuse Prevention Month Tabling- in person, located outside the Union
- 2-5 p.m. – Clothesline Project- in person, located in the MCC

• Tuesday, April 13
- Noon- 2 p.m. – Clothesline Project: Making T-shirts- in person, located in the MCC

• Wednesday, April 14
- 4-5 p.m. - L.E.A.D. Series - Hate Speech: What is it and what can we do about it? – in person, located in the Capitol Room in the Union
- 5-7:30 p.m. - Drag 101 – virtual
- 6-7 p.m. – WIU's Zoom Social – virtual

• Thursday, April 15
- Noon- 3 p.m. – FSL & Child Abuse Prevention Month Tabling – in person, located outside the Union
- 5-9 p.m. – Take Back the Night: Rally and March – in person, located at Sherman Hall and Chandler Park

• Friday, April 16
-11:30- a.m.-1 p.m. – 'What's the T*?' - In person, located in the MCC

• Saturday, April 17
- Family, Dad's and Mom's Day

• Sunday, April 18
- 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – National Volunteer Week: FSL Street Clean – in person, located all around campus, meeting location at the Union
