Undergraduate Admissions Events Update

MACOMB, IL -- Considering the well-being of the WIU community and visitors, Western Illinois University Undergraduate Admissions is cancelling daily visits until further notice.

Group visits, Western Express and Transfer Western Express events are suspended for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester. In addition, the following events are canceled: Admitted Students Day, March 23; Experience Western, March 29-30;Discover Western, April 4; New Student Registration, April 17; and Experience Western, April 19-20.

Undergraduate Admissions is developing plans for virtual versions of select events and will have information available soon.

"We'd like to thank our prospective students and their families for their patience as we work out the details during this unprecedented situation," said Drew Donahoo, associate director of Undergraduate Admissions. "Fall 2020 planning is underway, and we look forward to seeing our students as we start a new semester at WIU."
