MACOMB, IL – An exhibit by artists Danielle Weigandt, titled "Standard," will be on display in the Western Illinois University Annex Gallery from Monday, Jan. 27-Friday, Feb. 14.

The Annex Gallery is located in WIU's Heating Plant Annex.

Weigandt is a ceramic installation artist. A reception in honor of her work, including a gallery talk, will be held from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27 in the Annex Gallery.

"Going beyond just a clock on the wall, I seek to make time, a seemingly invisible event, visible," said Weigandt. "My art, given sufficient time, will work within a dynamical system that has the same behavior over time in all the different phases of creation and through site specific installations will create different interpretations of its meaning."

Weigandt will also be giving a free ceramics workshop, open to WIU students, faculty and staff, and the Macomb community, from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27 and from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28 in room 111 of the Heating Plant Annex.
