MACOMB, IL -- The Western Illinois University School of Global Education and Outreach is seeking volunteers to help with New International Student Orientation, Jan. 6-10, the week prior to the beginning of the Spring 2020 semester.

This orientation helps new international students settle into the campus and community, and volunteers are needed to help with activities including check-in, shopping trips, bank trips, a library tour, American Culture Night, etc.

Being a New International Student Orientation Volunteer is a great chance to:

• Meet new people
• Learn about different places and cultures of the world
• Increase your cultural competency
• Share your experience at WIU
• Enhance your resume

Anyone interested in becoming a New International Student Orientation Volunteer for the spring orientation can visit bit.ly/2NZrINN. Names will be added to a list and they will receive more information in January.
