Sleep Out for the Homeless Nov. 8

MACOMB, IL - - Join the Western Illinois University Marketing Club and Samaritan Well Inc. for the first-ever Sleep Out for the Homeless event being held from 6 p.m.-6 a.m., Nov. 8-9 at 1545 Riverview Dr. in Macomb.

The overnight event, which is open to community members, is raising funds for the men's and women's shelter in Macomb, Samaritan Well Inc. The cost of entry is $25 per person, with children under 10 admitted for no charge.

A live band will perform, and games and activities will include hay rack rides, scavenger hunt, bags tournament, nine square, capture the flag, special guest speakers and more. Winners of each game will receive a prize. Pizza will be served at midnight.
