Paint the Paws Rescheduled: Sept. 30

UPDATE:

MACOMB, IL -- Due to forecasted inclement weather, Paint the Paws, originally scheduled for Sept. 27, has been rescheduled for Monday, Sept. 30.

On Sept. 30, the WIU Alumni Association will host two Paint the Paws shifts; the first beginning at 1 p.m. and the second at 3 p.m. First-shift painters should check in at Western Hall by 12:45 p.m. and second-shift painters should check in by 2:45 p.m. Supplies will be provided.

Student groups, as well as faculty, staff, alumni and friends interested in participating should complete the Google form at bit.ly/2mchcqK, or contact Jessika Runquist at JE-Runquist@wiu.edu.

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends are invited to participate in Paint the Paws Friday, Sept. 27, to kick off Homecoming week 2019 "Rocky on Broadway - The Leathernecks are a Tough Act to Follow." Homecoming activities will be held Friday, Sept. 27 – Saturday, Oct. 5.

Paint the Paws is a time-honored tradition at WIU where the University community repaints more than 200 Rocky paws along University Drive and Western Avenue. Hosted by the WIU Alumni Association, this event signifies the path leading alumni and friends back home to Western.
