Donna L. Sloan Obituary

MACOMB, IL – Funeral services for Associate Professor Emeritus Donna L. Sloan will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Macomb. Sloan passed away Monday, May 13, in Macomb.
A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 16 at the Volga Cemetery in Volga, IA.
Sloan taught textiles and clothing at WIU, beginning her time at the University in September 1969 and retiring in May 1997.
She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Iowa State University and her doctoral degree from Ohio State University.
Sloan is survived by her sister, Doris; her niece, Janet and her nephew, Jerry.
