International Day of Light May 16

MACOMB, IL — Western Illinois University's Department of Physics will host its "International Day of Light" event from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 16 in Currens Hall 302.

This event will feature hands-on experiments and many activities that include color mixing, separating light into rainbow, luminescence, invisibility, cloaking, optical illusions, stereoscope, interference, holograms, IR vision, telescopes and polarizers.

The Optical Society of America Student Chapter at WIU organized this event.
