International Student Scholarship Award Winners Announced

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University Center for International Studies Scholarship Committee has announced the winners of its Fall 2019 scholarships.

The recipients include:

The Redeemed Student Fellowship $100 Scholarship: James Ajayi, an economics graduate student from Nigeria.

The Francis and Peggy Davern International $325 Scholarship: Taofeek Oladepo, an instructional design and technology graduate student from Nigiera.

The Bessie Meyers $400 scholarship: Xiomy Pinchi Davila, a biology graduate student from Peru.

The AAUW Macomb Branch $500 Scholarship: Paula Ramirez Fernandez, a senior music and psychology double major from Colombia.

The WEOG $500 Award:

- Israel Adebisi, a senior computer science major from Nigeria    
- Ibiyinka Amokeodo, a health sciences graduate student from Nigeria
- Oscar Daniel Ayala Gimenez, a music graduate student from Paraguay
- Olajumoke Oke, an exercise physiology graduate student from Nigeria
- Sravani Marneni, a computer science graduate student from India

The Ruth Hughes $800 Scholarship: Minli Shen, a senior economics major from China.

The Dr. In Kon Kim $,1000 Scholarship: Wonkyung Kim, a music graduate student from South Korea.

The Rodney and Bertha Fink $1,200 scholarship: Pranaya Vidiyala, a computer sciences graduate student from India.
