Purple and Gold Popcorn Available in WIU School of Ag Office

MACOMB, IL – Give friends and family a gift that literally pops with local flavor and school spirit this holiday season - purple and gold popcorn, produced on Western Illinois University's Allison Organic Research and Demonstration Farm, is the perfect stocking stuffer.

One half-pound bags of straight purple, and two types of mixed purple and gold are available for $2 each in the WIU School of Agriculture office in Knoblauch Hall 145, on the WIU-Macomb campus. The office will be open from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday (Dec17-21).

The popcorn can also be purchased in bulk for $3 per pound (a 25 percent discount) for any order more than five pounds. To place bulk orders, contact Andy Clayton at AW-Clayton@wiu.edu or call (309) 298-1172 or (217) 322-2639.
