'March Tale' Production Oct. 24-28 at WIU

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Department of Theatre and Dance will present "March Tale," Wednesday-Sunday, Oct. 24-28 in the Horrabin Hall Theatre.

The Oct. 24-27 shows begin at 7:30 p.m., with the Oct. 28 matinee beginning at 2 p.m.

The comedic production, directed by WIU Assistant Professor Hadley Kamminga-Peck, is an Elizabethan-era play featuring William Shakespeare, Queen Elizabeth and other characters from England in the 1600s. The performance is loosely based on an actual historic incident, beginning in March 1603, during the last few days of Queen Elizabeth's reign.

Admission is $15 for the general public; $13 for senior citizens and youth and WIU students will be admitted free with valid student identification.
