Screening of "Parallel Lines" With Film Director Oct. 24 on WIU Campus

MACOMB, IL – Casa Latina and the Film Club at Western Illinois University will sponsor a campus visit by artist and director Allison Walsh from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 in the University Union's Sandburg Theatre.

The visit will include a screening of Walsh's collection of short films, "Parallel Lines," the stories of Olga Perez, a formerly undocumented maid, and Chuck Foss, a former U.S. border patrol agent, who respectively live in the border towns of Juarez, Mexico and El Paso, TX.

There will be a question and answer session following the screening.

The event is open free to the public.
