75 Years of Graduate Education at WIU

Rescheduled Graduate Studies Open House April 14 at WIU-QC

MOLINE- Western Illinois University-Quad Cities will host a rescheduled open house for anyone interested in pursuing graduate study, as well as celebrate the 75th anniversary of graduate education at WIU, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 14 on the WIU-QC campus. The event is free and open to the public and will include refreshments and lunch. RSVP is required by April 12. The original date was postponed due to weather.

The event will include a welcome and program, campus tours, raffles, and graduate program information sessions. According to Kellie Larrabee, graduate admissions counselor, WIU-QC currently offers 28 doctorate, master's degree, and post-baccalaureate programs delivered through classroom, hybrid, and online learning platforms. A list of graduate offerings at WIU-QC can be found at wiu.edu/qc/academics/graduate.php.

"This celebration is a wonderful opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing graduate-level education, from current students considering master's-level work, to local professionals seeking to advance their education and career opportunities," Larrabee said. "We look forward to welcoming prospective students and honoring the rich tradition of graduate-level education at WIU."
