WIU Student Wins Broadcasting Award of Excellence

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University junior broadcasting major Justin Fitzpatrick, of O'Fallon, MO has received an Award of Excellence for a sports feature submitted to the Festival of Media Arts competition, hosted by the Broadcast Education Association (BEA).

Fitzpatrick was recognized in the Television Sports Story/Feature category for his feature on WIU Women's Basketball player Sam Pryor.



The BEA Festival of Media Arts is an international competition that recognizes the best in student and faculty work. BEA will recognize the award winners in each category April 8-9 in Las Vegas, NV.
