Veterans and Service Members Tribute Ceremony

MACOMB, IL -- Western Illinois University will host a Veterans and Service Members tribute ceremony beginning at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10 at the Sherman Hall flagpole.

President Jack Thomas, Vice President for Student Services Ron Williams, Western's ROTC Color Guard, WIU Veterans Club President Robert Rinell III, applied music major Zachary Palmer and School of Music Professor Bruce Briney will recognize veterans and service men and women. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the Sherman Hall Auditorium, third floor.

A variety of events and programs will be held through Nov. 11 as part of Military Appreciation Week. More information can be found at http://tinyurl.com/y9hp94kj.
