Farewell Reception for Bowman Thursday

MACOMB, IL – A farewell reception for Western Illinois University Human Resources Director Pamela Bowman will be held from 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, July 27 in the University Union Lamoine Room.

Bowman has resigned from the University after 13 years of service to accept a new job out of state. Her last day at WIU will be Monday, July 31.

"We thank Pam for her years of service to the University and her work on behalf of WIU's employees," said WIU Vice President for Administrative Services Matt Bierman.

Prior to coming to Western in 2004, Bowman was the director of staff relations and benefits at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, IA. She has also served as the human resource director for Exceptional Persons, Inc. in Waterloo, IA, and in personnel for Black Hawk County.
