‘Create Your Career Toolkit’ Events to be Offered at WIU-Quad Cities

MOLINE, IL - - Western Illinois University-Quad Cities will host a "Create your Career Toolkit" event from 9 a.m-4 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, and again from 9 a.m-4 p.m. Thursday, July 27. Both events are free and open to the public, and will be held in the QC Complex, Building C Atrium. The events are drop-in style, and attendees do not need to attend both dates.
At each event, WIU-QC's Career Services will offer resumé and cover letter reviews, help with LinkedIn profiles, and mock interviews to students, alumni, and community members.
"This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to prepare for a first job or a career shift, and we welcome members of the public," said Stephanie Loconsole, WIU-QC Admissions counselor and Career Services summer intern.
