PAS Diamonds and Wine Event is May 20 at Macomb Country Club

MACOMB, IL - The Performing Arts Society at Western Illinois University will host Diamonds and Wine from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, May 20 at the Macomb Country Club. Diamonds and Wine is presented by Citizens Bank, a division of Morton Community Bank.

The event is a variation on the former PAS Wine Tasting, with the addition of a diamond earring raffle. Diamond Den has donated diamond earrings, with a one carat total weight. Raffle tickets for the earrings can be purchased for one for $5, three for $10 or 10 for $20. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling (309) 298-1618, and raffle tickets will also be available at the event.

Guests at Diamonds and Wine will enjoy live jazz music by the Charlie Miller Quartet Jazz Band, as well as sample from a wide variety of wines on the patio. Appetizers will be available, as well as a full cash bar for those who do not wish to sample wines.

Following the event, guests are welcome to stay for dinner at the Macomb Country Club, where music Professor Michael Stryker and music Associate Professor Kitty Karn will perform from 7-9 p.m.

Diamonds and Wine guests do not need to be a member of the Macomb Country Club to make a reservation for dinner for this event. Dinner reservations can be made by calling (309) 833-2177. Guests who are not members of the Macomb Country Club can pay for dinner using a check or credit card.

Wine sampling reservations made before May 18 are $30; wine sampling reservations made on or after May 18 are $40; and a cola/coffee/cash bar reservation is $20. The event will be cocktail attire and reservations are open to the public.
