Spanish Workshop May 6, June 10

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University will host a series of Spanish Workshops for participants to experience and learn about the language. The workshops will be held in the Spoon River College Outreach Center, at 2500 E. Jackson St. in Macomb.

The workshops include:

• May 6 – Spanish for Public Health Contexts - 9 a.m.-noon - Workshop facilitators are Guada Cabedo Timmons and Fetene Gebrewold

• June 10 – Introductory Spanish for Teachers - 9 a.m.-noon - Facilitators are Goria Delany-Barmann and Guada Cabedo Timmons

Both workshops are open free to the public. the workshops are sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education Title VI Grant: Community as Agents of Change, Language and Area Studies for a Sustainable Future.

There is limited space and registration is required before the workshop.
