MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University School of Music Professor of Horn Randall Faust was in the program at the recent Organ and Brass Spectacular as part of the St. Louis Cathedral Concert Series.

The entire horn section of the St. Louis Symphony performed "ROMANZA," in memoriam of Philip Farkas, a composition written by Faust, in the "Organ and Brass Spectacular" concert at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis.

The piece was written for five horns, and two of the five members of the St. Louis Symphony horn section are Faust's former students.

Faust's various compositions have been performed at many international venues, including the Symposia of The International Horn Society, The International Trumpet Guild, The International Trombone Association, The National Gallery of Art and the Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall.
