WIU Summer Camps

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University and the Office of Study Abroad and Outreach will host a series of academic summer camps. With the help of WIU faculty and student counselors, participants will have to opportunity to explore and engage in fun academic activities.

The summer camps and dates are as follows:

• June 4-9 - Discovering the World Through Science, Grades 9-12

• June 5-9 - The Amazing World of Agriculture: The Science of Farming, Grades 4-8

• June 11-16 - Art: Colorful Minds and Creative Hands, Grades 4-6

• June 18-23 - Art: Colorful Minds and Creative Hands, Grades 6-8

• June 26-28 - CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Grades 10 & up

• June 26-29 - TechVenturing: Robotics, 3D Printing and Drones, Grades 7-12

• June 13-16 - Peace Corps Youth Leadership, Grades 4-6

• June 26-29 - Exploring Harry Potter: Prisoner of Azkaban, Grades 5-7

• July 16-21- Girls Plus Math, Ages 11-13

Each participant is required to fill out a medical form, which is available at wiu.edu/sao/outreach/youth_enrichment/youthmain.php.
