WIU Employee Appreciation Weekend

MACOMB/MOLINE -- Western Illinois University President Jack Thomas and the President's Round Table for Staff will host WIU Employee Appreciation Weekend May 4-8.

Free events for WIU employees during the appreciation celebration include:

* Admission to the Donald S. Spencer Student Recreation Center Thursday, May 4-Monday, May 8 {must present WIU ID; guest passes for non-University employees/family members, $5 per day}.

* Round of golf at the WIU Harry Mussatto Golf Course Thursday, May 4-Monday, May 8 {must call (309) 298-3676 in advance to reserve a tee time; includes cart; guests of University employees will be required to pay regular greens and cart fees}.

* One round of mini-golf or one free bucket of golf balls (driving range) at Macomb Park District's Ball Fore Thursday, May 4-Monday, May 8 {must present WIU ID}.

* Admission to Figge Museum Thursday, May 4-Monday, May 8 with WIU ID.

* WIU-QC and Planning Vice President Joe Rives will host an employee appreciation breakfast on the WIU-Quad Cities Campus at 7:30 a.m. Friday, May 5 in the QC Riverfront Atrium.

* Open climbing tower hours from 4-7 p.m. Friday, May 5 at Horn Field Campus {reservations required; call (309) 298-HORN to reserve a spot}.
