WIU Places Three of Seven Broadcasting Finalists for INBA Scholarships

MACOMB, IL – Three students from Western Illinois University's Department of Broadcasting and Journalism have been chosen as finalists for scholarships with the Illinois News Broadcasters Association (INBA).

Senior broadcasting majors Breanna Descourouez of East Moline, IL; Emily Manley of Highland, IL; and Redrick Terryof Rock Island, IL, were among the seven finalists chosen from all Illinois public universities.

The finalists will be interviewed at the INBA Spring Convention Friday, April 21. Four winners of $1,500 scholarships will be invited to stay at the convention as guests of INBA. The other three finalists will be awarded mini-scholarships.
