Pratt Awarded Quad City Engineering and Science Council Scholarship

MOLINE, IL - - High school senior Allen Pratt, of Port Byron, IL, has been selected for the Quad City Engineering and Science Council Scholarship (QCESC).

To be eligible for the QCESC scholarship, which was created in collaboration with Western Illinois University, a student must have a 3.4 GPA and a 30 ACT score; be studying engineering at WIU and be a resident of the Quad Cities area.

Pratt, who plans to major in engineering at WIU, is a senior at Riverdale High School. In high school, he has participated in band, National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Rotary Interact, as well as football, basketball and baseball. Allen is an Illinois State Scholar and works as an umpire for youth baseball.
