International Women's Day Celebration

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University is proud to present the International Women's Day Celebration. The program begins at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 8 in the Multicultural Center.

This year's program will focus on the worldwide women's movement that was held on Jan. 21. The presentations and discussions will include topics related to the historical movements, what the future holds and plans to bring about positive change. Light refreshments will be provided.

This program is open free to the public.

Co-sponsors of the even are the Center for International Studies, the WIU departments of sociology and anthropology and history, the WIU Women's Center and the Women's Studies Program.
