Miri Phelps Art Reception

MACOMB, IL – Western Illinois University to host a public reception for Miri Phelps' "Eat the Worm, Cowboy" from 4:30-6 p.m. Monday, March 6, in the University Art Gallery. The paintings can be viewed through March 24.

Phelps graduated from Indiana University Southeast in 2013 with top honors. She went on to be a teaching assistant at the School of Art Institute of Chicago for two years. Phelps' work has been featured in art shows and exhibitions in all over the Midwest, including Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. Her expertise deals with metal fabrication, wood shop machinery and ceramics.
