WIU Women's Center Calls for Women's History Month Submissions

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University Women's Center is seeking information to be included in the calendar of events for Women's History Month (WHM) 2017 in March.

According to Women's Center Interim Director Lori Baker-Sperry, the national theme for WHM 2017 is "Honoring Trailblazing Women in Labor and Business."

The Center will publicize all relevant activities taking place both in the community and WIU's Macomb and Quad Cities campuses on a calendar to be distributed across campus and in the Macomb community the last week of February.

For inclusion, the following information must be e-mailed no later than Wednesday, Feb. 1 to womenscenter@wiu.edu: program title, date and time, location; sponsor, co-sponsor(s); admission charge (if any); restrictions (if any), targeted participants; telephone number for more information; whether the event is open to the public and name and telephone number of a contact person.
