MACOMB, IL – High school senior Arrianne Lennox, of Erie, IL, has been awarded a Western Illinois University President's Scholarship, which covers four years of tuition, fees and a residence hall room and meal plan at the school

"I chose Western because it's close to home and offers a large variety of choices," said Lennox.

At Western, Lennox plans to major in music business. While at Western, she plans on exploring opportunities in band ensembles and dance.

In high school, Lennox participated in National Honor Society, dance, band, choir and show choir.

To qualify for the WIU President's Scholarship, students must have a minimum ACT score of 30 and have already received WIU's Centennial Commitment Scholarship. The scholarship decision is also weighted by the proof of volunteer and community service.
