Interfaith Jazz Gathering Oct. 26 at Wesley Church

MACOMB, IL – The Western Illinois University Jazz Program will present an Interfaith Jazz Gathering, beginning at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1212 W. Calhoun St., Macomb.

The interfaith, intercultural and intersectional event is themed "Race and Faith in the United States Today," and will be moderated by David Lafary. Professor Emeritus Essie Rutledge and Chanel Lane will also be a special guests during the event.

The event, which is open free to the public, will include music and discussion. Dinner begins at 5:45 p.m., followed by a 6 p.m. program.
